EFC 55: THE WOLF UNIFIES HIS TITLE

It's a fight that was nearly two years in the making. It's a fight that all the fans wanted see. The biggest build up in EFC history and clash of two champions that will continue to ring in ones ear until someone else managers to dim the sound of EFC 55's echo.

On Friday 11 November 2016 we saw, what many claimed to be, the biggest fight in EFC history. This fight went all 5 rounds and it was clear that neither fighter was going to give in but in the end, there could be only one! Demarte "The Wolf" Pena managed to secure the win and unify the title after the fight went the distance and to the judges score card. Pena won by Unanimous Decision. What's next for "The Wolf" remains to be seen as various rumours have been making their round. So we wait in anticipation as until the announcement is made.

Dave "The Pain Train" Mazany managed to win in spectacular fashion as he defeated Leon "Iron Lion" Mynhardt in the third round via TKO. Mynhardt took this fight on a weeks notice as Don Madge was injured while preparing for this bout. This was Mazny'z first title defense and judging by the outcome, it is clear that Mazany is planning to hold onto his title by any means necessary.
